Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Christs Church for 
Lora Carpenter, age 50, of Roswell, who passed away on January 24, 2014. Mike Joy will officiate. Lora Lee Carpenter was born on January 27, 1963 in Roswell, NM to Harold Krantz and Dorthy Miles Krantz. Lora graduated from Roswell High School in 1981. She married Ross Carpenter on November 13, 1988. She and Ross spent their life together ranching on the LA ranch East of Roswell, as well as running Carpenter Custom Hauling. Lora was an amazing wife, mother, friend and mamaw. She was an allaround good hand, tending to whatever was needed of her on the ranch as well as in the home. Lora was the type of person who lit up the room with her charismatic fun loving personality. She left us so unexpectedly, but she will be truly missed but never forgotten by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1989. She is survived by her husband of the family home, her father, one brother Greg Krantz Peggy, son Ben Grey Berlinda, son Jake Kassi, Daughter Katie Jeremy, as well as her grandchildren Karli and Keylee and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
